Happy 2023! Region M Waste Management would like to express their appreciation and gratitude for their Grantees, Executive Board, Advisory Committee, and all of the cities and counties they work with in Region M. They have made some strides in recent years to ease the grant application process, reduce district operation costs, increase tonnage diversion rates, close out projects sooner, and better serve the communities. Thank you, all for your role in this!
FY2024 (07/011/23 – 06/30/24) Grant Round Timeline
The FY2024 Grant Round is now open! Applications are due February 10, 2023.
Eligible projects include activities that result in waste reduction, recycling, collection and processing of recyclables, composting, recycling market development, and public education regarding recycling and environmental efforts. Projects must serve within the Region’s five counties of Bart, Jasper, McDonald, Newton, and Vernon Counties in southwest Missouri.
Applicants must participate in a grantee workshop prior to submitting a final application. Contact Region M to sign up for one of the following dates:
- Tuesday, January 10 at 1:00 pm
- Wednesday, January 18 at 12:00 pm
- Thursday, January 26 at 11:00 am
- Friday, February 3, 2023 at 1:00 pm
