JLT Presents Man of La Mancha
This funny musical is based on the book by Dale Wasserman with music by Mitch Leigh and lyrics by Joe Darion. It follows a mad, but kind and chivalrous, elderly nobleman named Don Quixote, who, aided by his squire Sancho Panza, fights windmills that are seen as dragons to save his fair lady, Dulcinea.
The original 1965 Broadway production ran for 2,328 performances, won five Tony Awards, and has been revived four times, becoming one of the most enduring works of musical theatre.
This performance will be directed by Gary Roney and Shannon Wendt. Performance dates include March 23 through 26 at 7:30 pm and March 27 at 2:30 pm.
