Crowder College to Host Career & Technical Education Talent Showcase on April 21

Crowder College invites the community and local employers to join them for their Career & Technical Education Talent Showcase on Tuesday, April 21!

Held at the Advanced Training & Technology Center (3405 Hammonds Boulevard) from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, this is a chance for graduating students to showcase their skills, resumes, certifications, and projects to potential employers. Representatives from different companies from around the area are invited to come and connect with students and interview the future workforce.

Students will be showcasing their skills in programs like:

  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Automotive
  • Computer Network & Support
  • Construction
  • Criminal Justice
  • Diesel
  • Engineering Technology
  • HVAC
  • Welding

Networking will be held after the event from 4:00 to 5:00 pm with light refreshments provided. There will also be a signing table for anyone who is hired at the event!

Crowder College was established in April 1963, as the voters of Newton and McDonald counties passed the issue to create a community college (formerly junior college) on the land formerly known as Camp Crowder.
