(Joplin, MO) – The 2026 Joplin Empire Market Vendor Meetings are scheduled for Thursday, March 12 at 5:30 pm and Saturday, March 14 at 2:30 pm, following regular market hours. The meetings will be held at the Empire Market (931 E. 4th Street) and will last approximately an hour and a half.
These meetings are open (and required) for all current market vendors and for anyone interested in becoming a vendor during the market season. The Empire Market is a producer-only market, meaning all items to be sold must be grown or made by the vendor themself. Besides being open every Saturday, all year-round, the market also offers the Newton Kitchen, a shared-use commercial kitchen onsite.
There will be a review of the Rules & Regulations; training on the Debit, EBT, and Double-Up Food Buckets ticket programs; and a time for a Q and A, which will be an opportune time to ask questions about usage of the Bunny & Jane Newton Community Kitchen.
Light snacks will be provided.
