Slithering Superstars: Meet the Awesome Snakes!

The Native Snakes program at Wildcat Glades Education Cottage is designed just for kids and families!
In this hands-on, kids-friendly session, kiddos will meet real snakes and explore their fascinating world through interactive demonstrations and safe, supervised encounters. Presenter Cameron Kruse will guide attendees as they discover how snakes help our ecosystem, bust common myths, and learn how to respect these cool reptiles. Through fun activities and live examples, kids will learn that snakes aren’t scary — they’re amazing creatures worth understanding and protecting. Perfect for ages five and up, this free program makes learning about snakes exciting and approachable!

Nature Explorers: Shelters
Thursday, March 19 | 3:30 pm | Ages seven to 14 | Wildcat Glades Education Cottage | Free event
Join the Wildcat Glades team for a hands-on class where Nature Explorers will discover how to build a cozy, sturdy shelter with a tarp! Kiddos will explore different styles and must-learn knots together as they’re guided by Kelly Hock from Good Naturing.
