(Joplin, MO) – Downtown Joplin Alliance will hold their annual Evening of Excellence event on Thursday, February 19, at 5:30 pm. Presented by ALLO Fiber, the Evening of Excellence is a celebration of all who make the ongoing work of downtown revitalization possible — donors, volunteers, sponsors, businesses, and allies are welcome to the event.
Guests will gather together at The Ramsay (107 E 6th St) in downtown Joplin and enjoy catered small plates, as well as cocktails, beer, and wine presented by Eagles Landing. Harpist Ruby Grace Davidson will entertain guests as they eat and sip and enjoy the photobooth and explore engaging ways to support the organization.
A highlight of the evening will be the keynote speaker, Katlyn Cotton, the Director of Communications & Design at PlaceEconomics, a historic preservation firm based in Washington, DC.
After the keynote, Downtown Joplin Alliance Board President, Melodee Colbert-Kean, will present the 2025 highlights and award some of the champions of downtown.
There is no cost to attend, but space is limited and the menu is catered, so RSVPs are requested via ticket claims. Tickets can be presented at the door. Entry is on 6th Street. The ballroom is on the second floor. An elevator is available. Smart casual or cocktail attire is encouraged. Guests can register here.
