Connect2Culture to Host Joplin Arts Advocacy Prep on January 27

Join Connect2Culture on Tuesday, January 27 at 9:00 am for Joplin Arts Advocacy Prep at the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex (212 W. 7th Street)!

Each year, Missouri Citizens for the Arts hosts Missouri Arts Advocacy Week, a week-long, concerted effort that encourages artists, arts administrators, and arts and cultural representatives to urge legislators to support Missouri arts. Prepare for Missouri Arts Advocacy Week (February 2 to 6, 2026) with help from Connect2Culture during this Joplin-centric training! Learn about Missouri Arts Advocacy Week, receive materials and Joplin-specific information to help you communicate the importance of the arts, and help advance the arts across our state.

Coffee and light refreshments will be available.

About Connect2Culture:

Connect2Culture (C2C) is a not-for-profit arts organization founded in 2009 to enhance community through culture. Unlike any organization in the Joplin area, C2C is a respected community arts agency, a champion of the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex, and a performing arts presenter. C2C strives to expand audience and resources needed to “ignite a passion for the arts, culture, and entertainment” in the Joplin area.
