(Joplin, MO) – Crowder College will host a ribbon cutting for its newest facility on January 26 at 1:30 pm. The Advanced Training and Workforce Center is located at 3405 S. Hammons Blvd, Joplin, formerly the Victory building east of Sam’s Club.
The 84,000-square-foot facility provides expanded space from the previous location at the Advanced Training and Technology Center that Crowder College leased from the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce and City of Joplin starting in Fall 2017. The College has awarded more than 700 certificates and degrees to students in programs offered at the center.
The newly remodeled space will continue to bring skilled training opportunities to the region with expansion options in the future. Currently, the College provides training options in Advanced Manufacturing, Welding, Computer Network Support, Surgical Technology, and Engineering Technology. The College also provides non-credit training through Training & Development Solutions. TDS works with regional employers to develop and customize training to help strengthen their workforce. Training may be available in most any area needed.
The facility is open currently with Spring 2026 classes beginning January 20, 2025.
