Although he’s only been a Chamber Ambassador for a few months, he’s become a familiar face at networking events and Leads Group meetings. How long have you been a member of the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce?
For one year.
How long have you been an Ambassador with the Joplin Chamber?
Only about seven months.
Do you serve in any other capacities within the Chamber?
I’m a Leads Group Co-Chair.
What is your favorite Chamber event/program?
I love the Leads Group program. I think this is the most beneficial thing that a Chamber member can do to learn about what’s going on with other local businesses in the community. Not only do we discuss leads and things of that nature, but we also learn what’s going on in our local community. It can be a great way to connect and get plugged in!
What is your favorite memory from serving as a Chamber Ambassador?
I enjoy going to as many ribbon cuttings as time allows and celebrating key moments with those businesses!
What would your advice be to new members of the Chamber?
Get out there! Go to events! Don’t stand on the sidelines. Take advantage of the membership and meet new people.
Do you have anything else to add?
The Chamber of Commerce has been a fantastic benefit to me in my short time as a business owner. Everyone that I’ve encountered has been friendly, helpful, and extremely passionate to see local businesses succeed. In my opinion, the Chamber has really upped its game. They have refreshed, revamped, and rejuvenated the Chamber. It’s a terrific time to be a part of it!
