(Joplin, MO) – Sparklight®, Joplin’s hometown internet provider, is lending a hand to neighbors in need with a $1,500 donation to The Salvation Army of Jasper and Newton Counties. The funds will help the nonprofit respond to escalating need from local residents this holiday season.
The donation is part of Sparklight’s recent Refer-A-Friend Connections That Matter campaign. The company’s Refer-A-Friend program rewards customers for helping expand access to high-speed internet in their communities. Through the program, both the referring customer and their friend will receive a $50 prepaid card when the friend signs up for Sparklight internet and remains connected for 30 days.
