Joplin Parks and Recreation Department to Host Little Dribblers Basketball Classes for Toddlers Beginning in January

Joplin Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the return of their popular program, Little Dribblers!

This four-week sessions meets every Tuesday in January beginning January 7 and ending January 28. During each class, kiddos ages three to five will learn the fundamentals of basketball in an encouraging and non-competitive setting. Coaches will also emphasize the benefits of exercise as participants develop their basketball skills. There are no basketball games — this is a low-pressure class focused on giving kiddos a taste of basketball as they learn the basics and have fun.

Each session will be hosted at the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Missouri (317 Comingo Avenue).

The cost is $45 per child and each child will receive:

• A jersey
• A mini-basketball
• A medal
