(Joplin, MO) – Children’s Haven and First Presbyterian Church Joplin invites the community to join them for the monthly First Tuesday Lunch on December 2 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at 509 S. Pearl Avenue in Joplin. This month’s event will benefit Children’s Haven of Southwest Missouri, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing crisis care and shelter for area children when families are in crisis.
Guests can enjoy a hearty, homemade lunch for just $10, choosing from a menu of local favorites, including:
- Spaghetti Red (with our without beans)
- Spaghetti with meatballs
- Chili (with or without beans)
- Chili dog
- Frito pie
- Meatball sub
All meals are served with a salad, dessert, and drink. Carry-out orders are also available by calling 417.624.2433.
Funds raised will directly support Children’s Haven’s 24-hour crisis care program, ensuring that children in southwest Missouri have a safe, nurturing place to stay while their parents are assisted to resolve emergencies.
