(Joplin, MO) – Football season has kicked off, and fans have a chance to make a lifesaving play. By donating blood in October or November at any Community Blood Center of the Ozarks donor center or mobile blood drive, donors will receive a limited-edition Kansas City Chiefs T-shirt, while supplies last. Donors can also enter for a chance to win a game day package that includes two tickets and a parking pass to the Chief’s December 14, 2025, game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The game package is valued at $585.
Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) is the sole provider of blood to more than 40 hospitals across 41 counties in southwest Missouri, northwest Arkansas and southeast Kansas. To meet the daily needs of local patients, CBCO relies on approximately 200 blood donations every single day. Just one donation can help save up to three lives, making every donor a vital part of the health care system.
