The City of Joplin would like to remind the community that Joplin High School’s Homecoming Parade is taking place on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 6:30 pm.
Main Street will be closed at 5:30 pm to accommodate the parade and will reopen at the conclusion of the event.
The parade will begin at 6:30 pm at 7th and Main Streets and ends at 2nd Street. Everyone is invited to come downtown for the event and to support the Joplin Eagles.
Meanwhile, the City would also like to remind the public that Missouri Southern State University’s Homecoming Parade will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Main Street will again be closed from 7th to 2nd Street and will reopen at the conclusion of the parade. The community is welcome to line the streets once more to support the Missouri Southern Lions.
