The Joplin History and Mineral Museum invites the community to grab your clubs, gather your team, and swing for a cause in the Dee Ann Lowry Route 66 Golf Scramble on Friday, October 3, 2025!
This event not only benefits the Joplin History and Mineral Museum, but also supports the family of Dee Ann Lowry, who organized this event for many years. Lowry passed away from brain cancer on September 15, 2025, and part of the funds raised from this event will go to her family.
The cost to play is $100 per person or $400 per team. This covers cart fees, 18 holes, and lunch. Hosted at Schifferdecker Golf Course, lunch will be served at 12:00 pm, and at 1:00 pm, the tournament will begin. Guests can also expect:
- A putting contest for $20 per team, with a chance to win a new putter
- A double your money game for $80 a team
- Prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin
