(Neosho, MO) – Amanda Taylor, Crowder College Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs, was welcomed on campus on July 1. She previously worked at Three Rivers College, a community college located in Popular Bluff, Missouri. With experience as the Dual Credit Coordinator, a facilitator of an off-campus location, and as an adjunct instructor, Amanda is preparedly versatile.
“On my first visit to the college, I knew it was an institution and environment I could call home. There is a culture on campus that showcases the enthusiasm for the future while honoring the history that built it,” states Amanda Taylor Crowder College Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs. “Crowder College is committed to creating academic pathways that reflect the values, strengths, and needs of an evolving workforce, and I am thrilled to contribute to the rich legacy of the college and the communities it serves.”
Amanda spent two decades at Three Rivers College, where she opened self-sustaining off campus locations, expanded the Sikeston location where enrollment doubled and she led the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) in Sikeston. This is also where she played a major role in creating a program that provides residents of Missouri Correctional facilities with an education and transition assistance when released. Amanda’s role at Crowder oversees faculty divisions, Dual Credit and Instructional Centers at Cassville, McDonald County, Nevada, and Webb City.
