Starling Strategies, LLC is excited to announce their new leadership initiative that’s launching right here in Joplin: the Women’s Leadership Impact Cohort.
This four-week, in-person experience is designed to help women grow in clarity, confidence, and influence. Beginning July 22, 2025, participants will meet on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 am at The Big Biscuit’s Event Room (2401 E. 32nd Street). This isn’t a lecture series — it’s a coaching cohort for just six participants to:
- Discover their leadership superpower.
- Build trust through intentional communication.
- Practice influence strategies that create real change.
- Leave with a personalized leadership action plan.
Why does this matter? According to U.S. Census data, the gender wage gap in Missouri remains significant — with women earning roughly 78 cents for every dollar earned by men. That gap is wider for women of color and women in rural or non-executive roles.
This cohort is a step toward narrowing that gap — by equipping women with the tools to lead more effectively, advocate for themselves, and lift others as they grow.
