The City of Joplin would like to notify residents that starting Wednesday, July 9, south St. Louis Avenue from 7th Street to 6th Street will be closed for utility work as Spire Gas installs infrastructure in this area.
This is a daytime closure that will begin at 8:00 am and will reopen at approximately 4:00 pm each day. The closure is scheduled from Wednesday, July 9 through Friday, July 11, weather permitting. Drivers will need to use an alternate route in this area. Neighborhood traffic will still be able to access residences.
The City appreciates your patience as this improvement is completed.
