Joplin Regional Alliance for Health Releases First Edition of the Joplin Area Health Care Education & Career Guide

(Joplin, MO) – The Joplin Regional Alliance for Health (JRAH) is excited to announce the publication of its first edition of the Joplin Area Health Care Education & Career Guide. The new Guide provides detailed information about the health care career training currently available in the Joplin region for more than 30 health care career pathways.

Health care professional certifications as well as associate, bachelor, master, and doctorate degree programs are highlighted in the Guide. Content includes programs from Franklin Technology Center, Franklin Technology Center’s Adult Education, Crowder College, Missouri Southern State University (MSSU), and Kansas City University – Joplin (KCU) via their AMP-UP program and MSSU and KCU via their MSSU-KCU Early Acceptance Program collaboration.

“We are excited to provide this consolidated guide that showcases the health care career training available right here at home in the Joplin area. We have job openings for all these career professions in the Joplin region, and we want to make it as easy as possible for people to step into health care career training and jobs in our region,” said Lori Worthington, JRAH executive director.

The Guide can be used by adults and students who are interested in health care careers as well as parents, coaches, counselors, and friends who are supporting career discovery and exploration. Organizations that help individuals with job training, employment pathways, and achievement of career goals can also benefit from the consolidated guide.
