The World Street Painting Festival, Route 66, will be held June 4-7, 2025, in Joplin, Missouri. This is the second of three years that 3D Street Painting artists from around the globe will bring their unique art style to Joplin as part of Visit Joplin’s signature event celebrating the Route 66 Centennial.
In 2024, through a partnership with the Netherlands-based World Street Painting Foundation, three USA-based street painting artists created amazing works of art, marking the start of the Mother Road centennial celebration. Their works are still displayed outside the Harry M. Cornell Arts and Entertainment Complex.
For 2025, ten artists will continue growing the gallery by painting a road surface in Schifferdecker Park. Ten businesses or organizations can sponsor a painting for $660.
The tentative 2025 list includes artists from the Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, Italy, Japan, France, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the United States.
The ROI of a sponsorship:
- Participating in Joplin’s Route 66 Centennial signature event.
- Have your business or organization’s name displayed with the artwork in vinyl. The paintings will be sealed and planned to be shown through the 2027 tourism season (March to October), but their longevity is subject to the harsh weather. Your sponsorship will stay with the artwork throughout its life.
- Any mention of the painting on a VisitJoplinMO.com digital platform will include the sponsor.
- The media will be encouraged to include the sponsor’s name in their event reporting.
- Your logo will appear on the official World Street Painting Festival t-shirt that all artists and volunteers wear. It will be one color on the back.
- Your team photo with the artist once the painting is complete.
- Limited use of images of the painting in your marketing campaigns.
