Crowder College’s FBLA Student President Earns Internship at National Conference

(Neosho, MO)Crowder College’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) president, Constance Graham (Carl Junction) was awarded one of two internships at the National Leadership Conference to be held in Dallas, Texas.

To earn the opportunity Graham had to apply, which included a resume and written responses to her experience and how she would benefit the leadership team. Upon review, she was selected for a virtual interview and then selected. Every FBLA member in the country was given the opportunity to apply.

“I am extremely grateful to being given the resources to take on this opportunity to grow my skills and see how my actions directly influence such a large-scale event in real time,” stated Graham. “I am eager to contribute in creating an unforgettable experience for thousands of students, and equally as eager to face the unexpected obstacles to be allowed to learn realistic approaches to solve them!”

Graham will be assisting in all aspects of event logistics, including venue setup and teardown, speaker coordination, session transitions, and troubleshooting operational issues. She will also serve as on-site liaison for attendees, speakers, and vendors.

Along with her internship, Graham earned the opportunity to attend the national conference by placing at the state level in Marketing, Sales & Communication Case competition (third). She will be joined by seven Crowder FBLA members. For a complete list of national qualifiers, click here.
