
(Joplin, MO) – Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) is excited to announce that country music star Josh Turner will perform on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the university’s Fred G. Hughes Stadium for their annual spring concert!
The award-winning, multi-platinum country singer, known for hits like “Long Black Train” and “Would You Go With Me” will bring his signature sound to the MSSU campus for an unforgettable evening of live music.
Opening the concert will be crowd-favorite Dawson Hollow, a rising act that will take the stage at 5:30 pm. Gates will open at 4:00 pm.
