JATSO Surveying Citizens About Their Transportation Needs

The Joplin Area Transportation Study Organization (JATSO) needs the public’s help in developing projects for the FY2026-2029 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP). JATSO designed this survey to identify areas where roadway, transit, bicycle, or pedestrian upgrades are needed to improve safety for all users.

The information obtained from the survey helps JATSO develop local and state project and will assist in creating projects to be included in the TIP and budgeted for construction during the next four years.

JATSO Planning Area includes Joplin, Carl Junction, Webb City, Oronogo, Duenweg, Duquesne, and Newton County as far south as the Tipton Ford/Undercliff Restaurant area. Everyone in these areas are encouraged to complete the survey and provide their valuable feedback. This survey will remain open until the end of April.

The survey can be found here.
