(Joplin, MO) – The regular meeting of the Joplin City Council, which had been scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 2025, is cancelled in anticipation of a significant winter storm that is anticipated to create dangerous driving conditions Tuesday evening.
The agenda times that were scheduled for February 18 will be postponed to the March 3 Council meeting, which will begin at 6:00 pm in the fifth floor council chambers inside City Hall. Items on the informal meeting agenda, which normally begins at 5:15 pm (immediately preceding the regular council meeting) will also be postponed to March 3, 2025.
City offices will be open during normal business hours, but stay tuned for potential updates regarding impacts to services or programs.
