(Joplin, MO) – Downtown Joplin Alliance (DJA) will hold their next quarterly Downtown Now event on Wednesday, January 29 at 5:30 pm. January’s event will be the annual Evening of Excellence, a celebration of all the individuals who make the ongoing work for revitalization possible! Donors, volunteers, sponsors, businesses, and allies are welcome to the event.
Guests will gather together at The Ramsay (107 E. 6th Street) in downtown Joplin to enjoy small plates catered by Mythos, as well as cocktails, wine, and beer.
A highlight of the evening will be the keynote speaker, Brad Lacy, the President and CEO of the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce.
There is no cost to attend, but DJA is limited on space and paying for a catered menu. Please RSVP only if you plan on attending. Tickets can be presented at the door on 6th Street. The event will be held upstairs in the ballroom, which is located on the second floor; an elevator is available for those who need it. Smart casual or cocktail attire is encouraged.
Lori Haun, Executive Director of DJA, states, “We are proud of the continue work that our organization has accomplished, but none of it would be possible without our supporters — both those who help us financially and those who volunteer their time. The Evening of Excellence is a way to pay tribute to them all.”
