University of Missouri Extension is offering an upcoming training for childcare providers on Tuesday, January 28 with two different times to choose from. Both sessions are online only and administered via Zoom. There is one session held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and one from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
In this training, participants will discuss the importance of engaging with families and support networks in inclusive and meaningful ways and identify barriers to effective engagement on both sides. Learning activities include poll questions, small group discussions, and case scenarios. Participants will leave the training with handouts reinforcing the material, which can be used at the programmatic level to review the current state of effective engagement.

A minimum of five participants is required for either class to be held. In the event of cancelation, participants will be notified 24 hours in advance.
