(Joplin, MO) – EaglePicher Technologies (“EaglePicher”), a leader in the defense and aerospace manufacturing industry known for its battery technology, energetic devices, and battery management systems, will be breaking ground on its new Energetics Facility in Joplin, Missouri on November 21, 2024 at 3:00 pm.
The scope of the project is quite extensive. The facility will feature state-of-the-art advancements in manufacturing technology with semi-automation capabilities, and advanced software for data retrieval and tracking. It is expected to create an annual revenue capacity of $80M for the company. This, in turn, will stimulate expanded job growth over the next several years.
“This investment will position EaglePicher’s Energetics business for significant growth, while strengthening our ability to respond to current demands in a premier Defense and Aerospace manufacturing facility”, stated Matt Housh, Vice-President & General Manager – Energetics Business Unit.

To complete the project, EaglePicher worked with several partners: Nabholz Construction, Conway, Arkansas; Cromwell Architects Engineers, Little Rock, Arkansas; MOKAN Partnership, Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Joplin; and the Missouri Department of Economic Development. ArentFox Schiff LLP provided legal counsel to EaglePicher.
