Beginner’s Watercolor Class

Come-and-Go Oil, Acrylic, and Watercolor Class
Every Tuesday in October | 2:00 to 5:00 pm | For adults | $20 per participant
Join Local Color for a weekly drop-in painting class for adults! Decide when to come and how long to stay. With up to three hours of painting time, you can both accomplish and enjoy more personal instruction. Award-winning artist Paula Giltner teaches watercolor, oil, and acrylic painting techniques and design principles. Bring any materials you have for the first lesson and learn about the materials you might need for additional lessons.
Impasto Oil Painting
Every Thursday in October | 2:00 to 6:00 pm | For adults | $20 per participant
Come learn the techniques and tricks behind painting thick with a painting knife!

Fused Glass Fall Lantern

Learn about fused glass while creating your own fall- or Halloween-themed glass lantern with artist Jane McCaulley! All materials and tools are provided, but registration is required. FUNdamentals of Paint Pouring

Saturday Paint Class
Saturday, October 26 | 10:30 am to 1:00 pm | For ages 8+ | $30 per participant
Looking to unleash your inner artist? Local Color artists will help you create your own masterpiece featuring one of hundreds of Impressionist paintings from artists like Van Gogh or Monet. You can also bring your own printed reference photo or paint something fun for Halloween. Cost includes all materials as well as a free ice cream cone from Caroline’s!
