The Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) Torch Awards recognize companies, charities, and students that are committed to exceptional standards for ethical business practices and service to their customers, employees, suppliers, and communities.
TORCH Award winners must show creativity in their ability to manage customer expectations, provide excellent customer service and resolve disputes. They must demonstrate the ways they inspire their workforce to adopt and communicate their ethics and further their mission. They must embody truth in advertising and help foster ethics within their industry and community. Benefits for the winners include:

Join the BBB team for the 2023 BBB Torch Awards luncheon on Wednesday, October 23 as the BBB honors five local businesses and one student who are committed to service excellence and ethics.
Doors open at 11:30 am for networking. Lunch and the awards program begins at 12:00 pm and concludes at 1:00 pm. The event will take place at The Old Glass Place (521 E. St. Louis Street in Springfield, Missouri). Blake Haynes, co-host and producer for KOLR Ozarks Live will be the afternoon’s emcee while Christine Morton, Social Media Marketing Expert, will be the speaker.
