(Joplin, MO) – Arvest has named Richard Winesburg as president for the bank’s Joplin market. He replaces Chad Evans, who was named president of the bank’s Benton County market.
Winesburg had served as loan manager for the bank in Joplin since 2017. He began his career at Arvest in 2000, serving as a commercial banker and commercial loan manager in Northwest Arkansas.
“We’re excited to have Richard step into this role,” said Rodney Shepard, Regional Executive for Arvest Bank. “It’s a seamless transition for our Joplin market, and I know his leadership will help us continue the great work our talented associates are doing to deliver exceptional customer service and innovative financial solutions.”
Winesburg received his bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Arkansas Tech University and attended Graduate School of Bank and Louisiana State University.
“Since moving to the Joplin area in 2017, the community has been very welcoming and great for me and my family,” said Winesburg. “What excites me the most about this opportunity is that I get to work with a great team of professionals who work hard to take care of the customer and our community. This team is like family, and I enjoy coming to the bank each day.”
