Walk to End Alzheimer’s Seeking Volunteers for Annual Walk on September 14

To end Alzheimer’s, the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Missouri Chapter, needs your help!

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. The Joplin event will take place on Saturday, September 14 at Mercy Park.

With treatment advances that offer people facing the disease hope for more time with loved ones, there’s never been a better time to get involved. As a day-of-event volunteer, you can help make Walk to End Alzheimer’s a successful, meaningful community event that moves everyone closer to a future without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Setup and teardown
  • Start and finish line support
  • Photo and video capturing
