Freeman Health System, in Partnership with Missouri Council for Activity and Nutrition, to Host Virtual Wellness Training Opportunities in September and October

Managers play an important role in how employees engage in well-being. That’s why transforming them into advocates for a wellness program can be key to seeing benefits such as lower absenteeism and health care costs. To help prepare managers, the St. Louis Area Business Health Coalition has developed a training program that provides a crash course in workplace well-being and useful tips for success.

Freeman Health System, in association with the Missouri Council for Activity and Nutrition, invites workplace managers to participate in one of these digital workshops. In this training, managers will:

  • Understand the business case for workplace wellness, including its impact on health care costs, productivity, and employee morale.
  • Learn the basic structure of a workplace wellness program, including best practices.
  • Leave with the tools and resources necessary to engage their employees in wellness programs.

There are two opportunities to attend this workshop. The dates and times are as follows:

  • Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 2:00 to 2:45 pm (Register here.)
  • Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 9:00 to 9:45 am (Register here.)

Both workshops are digital presentations and will go over the same content. They are both free to attend.
