The Joplin Family YMCA is excited to announce a School Supply Drive aimed at supporting four area teachers and their classrooms. With the new school year fast approaching, we recognize the vital role that teachers play in shaping our community’s future and the importance of providing them with the necessary resources to succeed.
Starting today, collection bins have been set up in the foyer of the Joplin Family Y. We are accepting donations of classroom supplies from the wish lists provided. The drive will run through August 19th, ensuring that the collected supplies can be delivered to the teachers in a timely manner.
“We are thrilled to support our local educators by providing them with the supplies they need to create a productive and enriching learning environment,” said Rene’ Snyder, Marketing Director of the Y. “This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to the community and our dedication to fostering educational success.”

Hot glue sticks
Expo Dry Erase Markers & Erasers Play Doh
Washable Markers Crayola Crayons
Board Games
Mesh Zipper Storage Bags Highlighters
Boxed Book Collections
All daily usage school supplies would be greatly appreciated
