Do you have a kiddo who will be a first-time bus-rider this upcoming school year? Joplin Schools invites all incoming kindergarten and first-grade students to their annual Joplin Schools Bus Camp! This event is open to the families of the students and is free of charge.
Stop by Junge Field (800 Junge Blvd. in Joplin) on Saturday, August 17 between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm to learn about bus safety and bus stop rules. Students will be able to take a ride on a school bus so that they’re comfortable and ready for the first day of school.
Area businesses and organizations will also be set up with vendor booths to help students get ready to go back to school.
