Social media can be a great way to connect with your customers, but it’s important to be aware of the risks that come with using social media.
Join the Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) as they partner with the Carthage Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau (BBB) for an insightful training on Safe and Savvy Social Media on August 29, 2024.
Pamela Hernandez, Regional Director for BBB – Springfield, will teach you how to be a safe and savvy social media user. Pamela is an Ozarks native and graduate of Missouri State University. She spent 15 years in the financial services industry, working in both consumer banking and operations project management before pivoting to a career as a personal trainer, health coach, and small business owner. After retiring from the fitness industry, she joined the BBB in 2022. As Regional Director for BBB, she plays a pivotal role in fostering trust and transparency in our local business community and educating consumers on how to make smart marketplace decisions.
