At Emery Sapp & Sons (ESS), we’ve always known our employee-owners were the best. Now, it’s official. ESS was recently named one of the 2024 Best Places to Work (Large Employer category) by Biz 417, a business magazine in Southwest Missouri.
This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in the Springfield, Missouri, area. Companies from across southwest Missouri entered the two-part selection process. The first part evaluated each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices and demographics, worth 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey, worth 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the final ranking.
Being named one of the Best Places to Work is a testament to the culture our employee-owners have created and the passion they put into their work. Our people’s dedication to owning what they do sets us apart. When everyone has a stake in the company’s success, it means more. Our employee-owners celebrate wins together, tackle challenges as a team, and aren’t afraid to make big things happen.
