Kansas City University – Joplin to Host MASH Camp on June 18

Kansas City University – Joplin (KCU) will host Missouri American Health Care Education Center’s (AHEC) Science & Health (MASH) Camp on Tuesday, June 18!

This program introduces high-school students to health science careers and medical education. Students will participate in a variety of activities and demonstrations, including dental saliva tests, health disparity exercises, a giant game of Operation, and a visual exercise using inflatable lungs to depict the effects of smoking.

KCU faculty and representatives from ACCESS Family Care will lead the activities and demonstrations for students throughout campus.
