Calling all homeschool parents and kiddos!
George Washington Carver National Monument will host Home School Day on Tuesday, June 25 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Don’t miss out on George Washington Carver’s “I Can” education program — a fun and educational experience where students will learn all about George Washington Carver’s life and legacy.
Bring your water bottle and some good walking shoes and join a park ranger for a guided tour, interactive museum discovery time, and enjoy a picnic lunch between activities. This event will also give students the opportunity to make peanut milk.
Register now for this free educational experience for your homeschooler(s)! The program is best suited for those in second to fourth grade, but older students will also enjoy it. Call 417.325.4151 to reserve your spot as space is limited.
