(Joplin, MO) – Lafayette House has been selected as one of the cabi Foundation’s Love Local recipients for the second year in a row.
Through this Love Local event, local cabi Stylists, Stephanie DeTar and several others, will have the opportunity to assists the clients of Lafayette House to look and feel their very best. With cabi donating nearly 400 clothing and accessory items, 40 of Lafayette’s clients will be going home with a brand new cabi wardrobe that is completely free to them!
On Thursday, May 9, 2024, several cabi Stylists and volunteers will have a full styling space set up at the Lafayette House for Lafayette clients to come shop and learn tips about styling their outfits. And 40 current Lafayette House clients have signed up for a one-hour time slot to have a personal shopping experience with a cabi Stylist. Time slots begin at 10:00 am and end at 3:00 pm. All of the events will take place in teh auditorium of the Main Lafayette House building at 1809 S. Connor Avenue in Joplin.
About Lafayette House:
Lafayette House is a private non-profit organization serving adults, children, and families experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or substance use disorders. The organization serves 1,200 people each year from a seven-county area in southwest Missouri.
