Join Connect2Culture (C2C) on Tuesday, January 23 at 10:00 am for their Missouri Arts Advocacy Prep, held in the Beshore Performance Hall of the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex!
Each year, Missouri Citizens for the Arts hosts Missouri Arts Advocacy Week, a week-long, concerted effort that encourages artists, art administrators, and arts and cultural representatives to connect with legislators and urge them to support Missouri arts. Make sure that you’re prepared for Missouri Arts Advocacy Week (February 5–9, 2024) with the help of C2C, Joplin’s community arts agency, during this Joplin-centric training!
Learn more about Missouri Arts Advocacy Week, receive materials and Joplin-specific information to help you communicate the importance of the arts, and help advance the arts across our state. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
Registration is required for attendance. To register, click here.
About Connect2Culture:
Connect2Culture (C2C) is a not-for-profit arts organization founded in 2009 to enhance community through culture. Unlike any organization in the Joplin area, C2C is a respected community arts agency, a champion of the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex, and a performing arts presenter. C2C strives to expand audience and resources needed to “ignite a passion for the arts, culture, and entertainment” in the Joplin area.
