(Joplin, MO) – Lafayette House has been providing services within the Joplin community since 1978. For their 45th birthday this year, they’re asking the community to show up for past clients, current clients, and their staff!
Their goal throughout the month of November is to get 1,978 people to donate $19.78 to support them as they continue to build on their 45-year legacy of providing services to individuals and families within the area. Donations can be made through their website or mailed to P.O. Box 1765, Joplin, Missouri 64802. They can also be brought directly to Lafayette House at 1809 S. Connor Avenue in Joplin.
To commemorate the signing of their articles of incorporation 45 years ago, the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon cutting at the main building at 1809 S. Connor Avenue on Monday, November 27 at 10:00 am. The community is welcome to attend as Lafayette House staff share about the services they offer. They will also have donuts and coffee to help kickstart the morning!
