(Joplin, MO) – The 2023 Empire Market Vendor Meeting is scheduled for this Saturday, February 25, at 2:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the Joplin Empire Market and will last approximately an hour and a half.
This meeting is open to all current market vendors and for anyone interested in becoming a vendor during 2023. The Empire Market is a producer–only market, meaning all items to be sold must be grown or made by the vendor themselves. Besides being open every Saturday, all year–round, the market also offers Empire Curbside, an online ordering platform with Saturday pickup, perfect for farmers or bakers who cannot attend another market in person, but wish to diversify their revenue streams.
There will be a thorough review of the market’s rules and regulations; training on the debit, EBT, and double-up food bucks token programs; and time for a Q & A, which will be an opportune time to ask questions about usage of the Bunny & Jane Newton Community Kitchen. Snacks will be provided.
