(Joplin, MO) – Main Street from 4th Street to 7th Street will be closed from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, November 4 to through traffic. This closure will allow for the City to bring in a crane so maintenance workers can access the roof and flagpole on top of City Hall.
City maintenance workers will untangle the American flag from its flagpole and also restring the pole for the Missouri State flag to be flown again on this building.
Drivers should use streets east or west of Main Street during this brief closure and remain cautious as they near the detours. The City of Joplin appreciates your patience.
