• Welcome Week—Fall 2021—Check out the events and activities on the Neosho campus. *Mon, Aug 30—Wax Hands |10am-2pm; Wed, Sept 1-Bingo Bash | 6:30-8:30pm; Thurs, Sept 2-Ice Cream Social | noon-1pm. All events are free and in the Student Center!

• Crowder College Board of Trustees announced they have begun the search to identify the next president. The Association of Community College Trustees will be assisting with the search process. Open public forums will be held Wed., Sept 1, 9am, 11am, and 4pm in Wright Conference Center on the Neosho campus to discuss the qualities, characteristics, and qualifications we are seeking in the next president.

• COVID vaccination clinics available & you could win incentives ($100 Amazon,
$100 Bookstore card or $100 Tuition waiver). Crowder College locations hosting vaccination clinics as follows: * Webb City—Sept. 1, noon-1pm * McDonald County—Sept. 9, 2-5pm * Cassville—Sept. 13, 10am-noon (flu shots as well)

• Crowder Theatre Department auditions for Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express”, will be held Aug. 30 & 31, 5:30-7pm in Elsie Plaster Community Center. Actors should be prepared to cold read and improv.

• Party on the Quad the 1st four weeks of campus: * Outdoor Game Night—Tuesday, Aug. 31 | 6:30-8:30pm * Dance & BBQ Night—Wednesday, Sept 8 | 6:30-8:30pm * Arts & Music Night—Tuesday, Sept. 14 | 6:30-8:30pm

• Longwell Museum Vault Exhibit, Sept. 1-Oct. 20, inside Elsie Plaster Community Center. Museum hours: M-F 9am-6:30pm, closed weekends and holidays. Opening reception Sept 9, 5-7pm.

• Mindful Mondays—Ask questions in a no-pressure setting. Meet our counselor, learn helpful tips for managing stress, and find out about the free services available. Snacks provided: Topics: Sept 13— Wellness, Fireside Room | 4:30-5:30pm; Sept 20—Anxiety, Roughrider Village (behind bldgs. E/F) | 4:30-5:30pm; Sept 27—Relaxation, Brown Housing Gazebo | 4:30-5:30pm.
