Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jasper and Newton Counties for the 12th Annual BeerFest on September 25 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm! There will be more than 200 beers to sample as well as food trucks, live music, games, contests, and local food vendors, who will be serving samples from limited menus.
BeerFest is the largest annual fundraiser supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters. This year, we are bringing five of our local breweries and three of our regional vendors together to pour samples all night along with more than eight local restaurants, who will be offering small bites.
This ticketed event is only open to those who are twenty-one years or older. Tickets may be purchased online here and are also available to purchase in-person at Jugz Liquor and Microbrew or at the gate. General admission is $35 per person and includes entry to the event, a t-shirt, a mini beer stein, and unlimited samples. VIP Admission is $50 and includes entry, a t-shirt, mini beer stein, unlimited samples, and a VIP Swag package.
This year’s event will be held at the I Do Event & Wedding Center at 7300 E. 20th Street in Joplin. This venue has a large outdoor space that will allow for social distancing between vendors and guests, as well as live music by 80 & Out and courtyard games like Cornhole, KanHam, Ya(rd)zee, and more. Beer and food vendors will be located inside, providing samples to the two large, indoor reception halls. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be limited seating inside.
McCoy Cab will be offering a flat rate for cab rides home during the event, and there will be secured parking until 12:00 pm on Sunday. This flat rate will apply to the greater Joplin area and surrounding communities, including Webb City and Carthage. Cabs will be on site from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
