(Joplin, MO) – The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) is sponsoring two more manager training sessions that are free to those interested. These are great one-hour, virtual courses built to help engage managers in their corporate wellness programs.
Provided by the St. Louis Area Business Health Coalition, these courses will help managers:
- Understand the business case for workplace wellness, including its impact on health care costs, productivity, and employee morale.
- Learn the basic structure of a workplace wellness program, including current best practices.
- Learn with the tools and resources necessary to engage their employees in a wellness program.
The next training will take place on November 13, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in a virtual Zoom webinar, with another, identical session to follow in December. Those interested in the November session can register here.
