Chamber Gives Back coordinated a river clean-up for the group’s July volunteer activity. The five-mile river clean-up has been an annual volunteer event for the past six years. This year the group had 10 community volunteers. Volunteers collected an abundance of cans, clothing articles, and general litter. The group uncovered some unusual items: a car battery, port-a-potty door, car parts, and pieces of furniture. Thank you to Liberty Utilities for sponsoring the event and Kozy Kamp for providing the canoes.
