(Joplin, MO) – Soroptimist International of Joplin has begun its annual sale of delicious nuts and sweets. Nut sales kicked off on September 10 and orders are due by October 15. Contact a member or send the club a message today at info@joplinsoroptimist.org.
Proceeds from the sale benefit the club’s social and economic programs, including monetary awards for disadvantaged local women who are pursuing a higher education, career support and mentoring for Joplin High School girls, as well as a week-long summer camp for Jasper County Foster kids.
Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization that improves the lives of women and girls through its Dream Programs—the Live Your Dream Awards and Dream It, Be It.
